Dear FSC Users,
Very gladly, we have brought the dropshipping system online. We were asked by many resellers if FSC can do dropshipping, we said yes, but the system made the dropshipping too complicated and it's hard to manage orders, which takes too much of users' time and energy. Now we have built up a new workflow called DropShipping Mode to simplify the whole dropshipping process and save time greatly.
With the dropshipping system, you can implement the following: 1. Ordering can be made in one action and no other steps.(It's suggested for zero stock type orders and the 2nd payment will be made automatically afterwards to save the time and make the thing easy as long as member account balance is sufficient.)
2. Built up your stock/inventory and it will be maintained by FSC. You can organize your shipments later by specifying the quantity of different products and submit shipping to have FSC ship the shipments to your different end customers.(It's suggested for building stock type orders as long as you have such a need. Building stock/inventory means the items are pre-purchased and when you receive an order from your end customer the items can be shipped right away instead of being waiting for the items being purchased before shipping, which takes about one extra week. Stock/inventory improves the customer satisfaction.)
We have enabled dropshipping mode and users can click the link in mode selection page after login to go into the workflow UI. Typically, the UI is very similar to Service Mode, and we will make it different later to prevent you from mistaking them.
The following three points you must know: 1. The shopping cart of dropshipping mode and service mode are shared, which means you can remove or add items into the shopping cart in either dropshipping mode or service mode. But be aware that the order data is not shared after the items are paid and submitted from shopping cart to order list.
2. Separate Conditions and Terms will be defined for dropshipping mode. Considering the dropshipping is with higher rate of fraud and complaint, FSC will only accept dropshipping orders under the new Conditions and Terms and handle the complaint according to them when there is any.
3. Users need to apply for the privilege to use the dropshipping mode before orders can be submitted in it.
